This Yardley backyard became a true entertaining hub with a full outdoor kitchen. We built a stone-clad bar with counter seating, a built-in stainless grill, durable stone countertops, and an overhead pergola strung with warm lighting — a space designed for cooking, gathering, and long summer evenings.
The Challenge
The homeowners loved to host but were tied to a small portable grill with no prep space or seating. They wanted a permanent, weatherproof kitchen and bar that could anchor the whole backyard.
Our Solution
We designed a U-shaped stone kitchen with a built-in grill, prep counters, a sink, and bar seating for guests. Weather-rated stone countertops and masonry stand up to the elements, while a cedar-toned pergola with string lighting defines the space and extends the usable hours into the night.
